New Bowl By Larry Lew!

For those of you who have been waiting, Larry Lew has brought us a new bowl!

"Chinese Pistache Burl Bowl"

This vase was turned using wood from a Chinese Pistahce tree that was taken down in the Oakdale area. The wood is a burl that formed on one of the limbs and part of the limb is incorporated into the turning. This results in the unique colors and grain patterns on the wood. This bowl was rough turned a year ago and allowed to cure before the final turning was made this year. The turquoise was crushed and inlaid into voids in the wood for an added effect.  The price is $485.
