29 Year Anniversary!

Posted by: Skooglund

Twenty-nine years ago today, Oct 1, 1980, First Street Frame Company opened it's doors! Located at 112 North First Street at that time, the first framing customer was John and Luisa Azevedo of Casanova Imports with a canvas that was 70 inches long. Glen and Carol had a such a great day to begin their business that they celebrated by going out for a Mexican dinner. The store was off and running! Here's a photo of how First Street Frame looked back then.

Ten years later, in August of 1990, Glen and Carol moved First Street Frame to it's present location at 226 North First Street. In 2008, First Street Frame Company officially changed it's name to First Street Gallery and Frame Company. Thousands of frames later, we feel the best thing about our business is the great people we have had the privilege of dealing with! We appreciate your business through all these years.

Don't forget to come by tomorrow night, October 2, for the Daniel Mundy Art Reception from 5-8 pm.

Stop by and see what's new at First Street! Mention this blog and tell us Happy Anniversary and we'll give you 20% off your custom framing or any purchase excluding original art or Larry Lew wood turnings.
